Our Strategic Plan

Our Strategic Plan

Developed in consultation with our customers and employees, our Strategic Plan 2022-26 provides a clear direction and focus so that we can continue supporting our customers to provide excellent health care.

Our Vision

“Great services, valued partner, healthy Western Australians”

Our vision is the future success we are aspiring towards. It describes our goal to provide great services to our customers, be known as a valued partner, and support the health of all Western Australians.

Our Purpose

“We support our customers to provide excellent health care”

Our purpose describes why we exist, what we do, and for whom. It signifies our role in supporting our customers, and our customers' roles in providing excellent health care.

Our Values

Our values guide our behaviours, and the way we interact with our customers and each other. They are unseen drivers of how we work, based on our deeply held beliefs that guide decision-making.

  • We put our customers at the heart of what we do
  • We value and care for each other
  • We promise, we own, we do
  • We will find a way
  • We make a difference together

Our Objectives

Our objectives influence how we design and deliver services, and how we operate every day.

  • Simple
  • Reliable
  • Responsive
  • Sustainable

Our Themes

Our objectives are the measurable attributes that are critical to achieving our future success as a contemporary shared services provider. They are what we want to be known for. They influence how we design and deliver services, and how we operate on a day-to-day basis.

Throughout 2022-26, we will be taking targeted actions in each of these five themes.

  • Clarify our role and service offering
  • Improve customer experience
  • Enhance our business performance
  • Empower our people
  • Build our social, environmental and economic sustainability

This is an exciting time for HSS, and we look forward to working with our customers and our people to continue our journey to provide great services, as a valued partner, that supports the health of all Western Australians.
